Staff AI Engineer

Experteer Overview As Staff AI Engineer at Lendable, you will advance our AI tooling and developer experience to accelerate delivery across product teams. You'll own end-to-end AI solutions, build the core AI harness, and enable secure, compliant access to data for AI actors. You'll work with engineers and product managers to ship impactful tooling that scales with the business and pushes the frontier of AI development. Your work will directly improve engineering throughput and influence how AI is used across the platform. Pay / Benefits

• Build on top of the AI cloud coding agent and the core AI harness Enable capabilities for specification, testing, and service reliability of AI agents Work with security and data governance to ensure secure data access for agents Enable teams to build with AI and adopt AI software development processes Help teams measure AI's impact on the development process and SDLC integration Transplant successful ideas and practices across teams Own problems from ideation to monitoring and iteration Tasks 6+ years of software engineering experience in a mid-to-large-size organisation Experience building AI tooling to improve developer experience (devex) Ability to influence cross-team work and ways of working Proven experience building AI tooling used commercially Strong full-stack skills in TypeScript Frontend skills with Next.js or React Strong AI knowledge: LLMs, embeddings, MCPs, RAG, evals, agentic platforms Experience building infrastructure in production using IaC, Kubernetes or Lambda functions Self-starter with end-to-end ownership Motivated by impact Key requirements private health cover retirement savings plans employee referral programme in-house meals on office days hybrid/flexibility with remote options off-sites and socials
