The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) team is offering a 9-month fixed-term position for an Administrator / Office Clerk. In this role, you'll join a small group responsible for gathering and submitting data from Liverpool University Hospitals' Stroke Service to the national audit-a crucial aspect of the Stroke department. Your main task will be to assist the SSNAP team with everyday administrative responsibilities, such as working closely with clinical staff to collect important information. You should be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels, whether they're administrators or consultants within the Stroke service. The SSNAP team will provide complete training on administrative procedures. Candidates should have basic computer and office skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, data entry systems, and standard office software. Prior experience in healthcare administration or audits is an advantage. This position is an excellent opportunity to enhance your data management and communication abilities, with possibilities for advancement in both the Stroke service and broader hospital administration. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00, totalling 37.5 hours per week.Main duties of the job 1 Assist with clerical support in the day-to-day running of the office area to ensure Service provision is met. 2 Collect data. 3 Send appropriate data to authorised recipients. 4 Respond to queries from other departments efficiently. 5 Collect information on the department's general activity. 6 Participate in appropriate audit programs 7 Prepare reports or statistical information as required by the team 8 Responsible for the implementation and updating of databases 9 Collate and update specific databases in accordance with set procedures. 10 Make effective use of general Trust IT systems. 11 General clerical duties, together with diary control, scheduling of some events 14 Support the other Clerical staff as required., A 12-month fixed-term Administrator / Office Clerk position is available within the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) team. As a member of this small team, you will be responsible for collecting and submitting data from the Stroke Service at Liverpool University Hospitals to the national audit programme-a key function within the Stroke service. The primary objective of this role is to support the current team with daily administrative tasks within the SSNAP department, including liaising with clinical staff to gather necessary data. It is essential that you are able to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels of the Stroke service, from administrative personnel to consultants. Comprehensive training regarding administrative duties will be provided by the SSNAP team. Candidates must possess a basic level of computer proficiency and administrative skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, data entry platforms, and general office software. Previous experience in healthcare administration or involvement in audit processes is highly desirable. This role offers opportunities to develop your data management and communication skills, with potential for progression within the Stroke service or wider hospital administration. The team operates Monday to Friday, with working hours from 09:00 to 17:00, totalling 37.5 hours per week.
