Sr Field Application Engineer

TE Connectivity's Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of product and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. They also approve operational quality of systems and equipment.Your main tasks:

• Serve as the technical liaison between the customer and TE, building relationships with key engineering contacts and decision-makers
• Collaborate with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications
• Provide technical support and consulting services, ensuring customer requirements are met with TE solutions
• Manage technical deliverables for customer projects, including product specifications and test studies
• Identify customer needs, develop new opportunities, and drive business growth
• Identify NPI opportunities and provide conceptual design recommendations
• Gather customer feedback, create Product Requirement Documents (PRD) for new product development
• Support product qualifications, design activities, and track development progress
• Stay informed on market trends and customer needs, sharing insights with PM and Engineering teams
  
  Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
• Field Application Experience
• Connector technical knowledge is an advantage
• Server architectural understanding
• Social skills for growing customer relationships
