Full Job Description

You will architect, design, layout, measure and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products. /p p You will lead efforts for a large block on a complex chip, mentor team members and track deliverables, participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production. /p p You will also collaborate with packaging and hardware design team to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met. /p p b Who you'll work with: /b /p p You will work with other Acacia mixed-signal engineers to collaborate in order to provide an optimized design that will integrate into the ASIC. measurement of high speed ICs in at least 3 areas below: /li li High Speed Serial Links utilising serializers, deserializers, and data convertors. /li li Voltage Regulators /li li High Performance Output Drivers /li li High Performance Phase Locked Loops /li li Opamps and Programmable Gain Amplifiers /li /ul p b Preferred qualifications: /b /p ul li Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications including backplane and cable communications. /li li Experience with FinFET technology. /li /ul p b Design for manufacturability: /b /p ul li Characterization over PVT (monte-carlo analysis) /li li Electro-migration analysis (using Totem, or equivalent) /li li Power and IR drop analysis /li /ul p b Laboratory Validation: /b /p ul li Solid ESD laboratory practices and methodology /li li Construction of test setup to test specific circuitry /li /ul p b Software Experience: /b /p ul li Experience in the use of high frequency test equipment
(BERT, jitter analyzers, VNA/PNA, etc.) /li li Spectre/APS/SpectreX /li li Layout validation tools (Virtuoso or Calibre) /li li Post-layout Extraction (Virtuoso or Calibre) /li li EMX /li li Mixed signal simulations in AMS /li li Matlab /li /ul p Possess a track record of innovation. Publications are a plus. /p
