Sports Lecturer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Sport to join our successful Sport and Public Services Department. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging and innovative teaching across our Sport provision, while taking on Course Team Leader responsibilities for Level 1 Sport and the Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Sports Coaching. There may also be opportunities to teach on our Personal Training programme.

You will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting students to achieve their potential, and creating an engaging learning environment that develops both skills and confidence.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.

Leading designated Sport programmes as Course Team Leader.

Supporting students academically and pastorally to achieve positive outcomes.

Monitoring attendance, progress and achievement.

Working collaboratively to drive excellence in teaching and learning.

Building links with employers and industry partners to enhance the learner experience.
