Salary: £24,790 to £25,183 Grade: Grade 4; Point 5 - 6 Cheshire East Council NJC Pay Structure Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: 37 hours per week (full time), 52.134 weeks per year (rota system, including evenings and weekends) Contract Term: Permanent Closing Date: Monday 7th July 2025, Midday Interview Date: Thursday 10th July 2025 We are seeking a proactive Sports and Community Lettings Assistant to provide efficient and effective support both to the community lettings business (High Leisure) and the PE Curriculum Team. The post-holder will ensure the effective management of equipment and the setting up and general preparation of sports areas. The successful candidate will be required to work on a shift basis in order to cover both curriculum and High Leisure use 7 days per week. Typically, this is five days out of seven, on a rota basis.
- To provide assistance to community facility users and give all users the best possible experience whilst using the facilities.
- To support PE teaching staff through preparing, deploying, maintaining and cleaning sports equipment and facilities to a high standard
- To conduct daily monitoring of all sports areas to ensure that all are properly maintained, clean and ready for use.
