Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our thriving Junior School PE department. The purpose of the role is to coach pupils within PE lessons, games and extra-curricular sports clubs. The role also involves helping to support at home and away sporting fixtures, This is a term time post working during term-time between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm for 35 hours per week (Hours may vary with Sporting Fixtures). To be successful in this role, you must be:-

  • Passionate about engaging Junior pupils in a range of sporting experiences.
  • An experienced netball, hockey or athletics coach, who is willing to enhance their capacities as a coach.
  • A qualified coach in either Netball, Hockey or Athletics; or have a sports related degree.
  • Patient, with the ability to inspire confidence and respect.
  • Able to build excellent working relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Engaged with the School's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively to meet the needs of the department.
