Sports Centre Duty Manager (Hourly Paid)

The role is to work on an hourly paid, casual basis as a Duty Manager. The hours will vary week to week depending on the needs of the business. The role requires applicants to be able to cover shifts between the Sport Centre Opening hours. Including, an early shift being from 6am-2pm and a late shift being between 2pm-10.15pm Monday to Friday. Weekend hours will be between 7.30am-5.30pm As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of the Sport Centre when on shift. This will include opening and closing the facility, the management of facilities including the Swimming Pool and Outdoor Pitches, supervising a team on shift to provide excellent customer service.,

• You will be responsible for the opening and closing of the building via campus security when on shift and to be responsible for the day to day running of the sport centre, supervising staff and delivering an efficient and secure service.
• Responsible for the safe operations of the Sport Centre facilities including the Swimming pool and Fitness Suite.
• To ensure the provision of clean, safe and high-quality facilities are prepared for use by staff, students, and users, allowing bookings to run at allocated time slots.
• To ensure the health and safety of swimmers through vigilant supervision of the swimming pool in line with the Normal Operating Plan and Emergency Action Plan.
• Working from the Reception desk at times, supporting the team on shift to provide high levels of customer service.
  
  You will have experience in the operational running and management of a busy Sport Centre or similar Facility.
• It is desirable for you to have experience in operating a swimming pool and hold a Pool Plant Operating qualification
• It is desirable for you to hold a current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, but not essential.
• Experience in Managing a team on shift to deliver high levels of customer service.
