Spiritual Care Workers

We are looking for experienced Spiritual Care Workers with a Theological qualification to work within the Therapy Team to provide spiritual, religious and emotional support to patients, relatives and carers in various settings - Community, Community Care Units, outpatients, and within our In-Patient Units. This is a chance to make a real difference to peoples lives.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in multi-faith issues and conducting religious and non-religious services according to the wishes of the patient and/or family.

This is an exciting time for St Elizabeth Hospice, as we are developing an achievable and sustainable palliative and end of life care service for the residents of Ipswich and East Suffolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney. Its a time of expansion, development and investment in the Hospice Team., St Elizabeth Hospice is committed to safeguarding and protecting the adults and young people that we work with and has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect and discrimination of any person. We have a range of robust safeguarding policies in place which promote safeguarding across the hospice and staff are expected to undertake regular, mandatory safeguarding training to equip them with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to potential risks.
