What You'll Be Doing


In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in patient recovery, focusing on the assessment and delivery of personalized treatment plans that uphold dignity, respect, and high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Managing and delivering speech and language therapy care plans, including assessment, treatment, and progress tracking.

  • Supervising junior staff and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, policy-compliant practice.

  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and professionals throughout the rehabilitation process.

  • Supporting service development by promoting therapy, implementing innovative techniques, and ensuring cost-effective care.


What You'll Bring to the Role


To excel in this position, you will need:



  • A relevant degree and HCPC registration.

  • A postgraduate qualification from RCSLT.

  • Relevant experience, including work in a specialist area.

  • Skills in working with patients with dysphagia and conducting assessments.
