supporting children and young people with a wide range of communication needs, while working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to ensure a joined-up and consistent approach.What You'll Be DoingManaging a caseload of students with complex communication needs, delivering both direct and indirect therapy interventionsCompleting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans, reviewing progress and adapting interventions as neededWorking collaboratively with education, residential and therapy teams to embed communication strategies across the settingSupporting and training staff to develop their understanding of Speech and Language needs and approachesContributing to EHCP reviews, annual reviews and clinical reporting, ensuring clear and accurate documentationWorking closely with families, carers and external professionals to provide advice, guidance and consistent supportSupporting the wider Speech and Language Therapy service, including caseload management

governance and service developmentAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and passionate about supporting young people with complex needs.You will have:A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and registration with HCPC and RCSLTExperience of delivering the therapy process (assessment, intervention and evaluation), including placementsA strong interest in supporting children and young people with autism and communication needsThe ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive professional relationshipsStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearlyGood organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workloadA commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practiceExperience working in a specialist education setting or with complex needs (desirable)How to apply?For candidates that haven't worked in this sector before please be aware that for
