Full Job Description
We are recruiting an enthusiastic HCPC Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join Sunny Hill School. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities. As part of the wider Clinical Team, you will benefit from strong support from our in-house Clinical Team and Senior Leadership Team. At Sunny Hill School We are a small, supportive school that effectively guides children through their educational journey. We are building a forward-thinking team to help shape the next phase of our development, bringing clarity, energy, and vision to our school community. We support a wide range of students with learning difficulties that impact their learning, communication, and daily life. We are committed to ensuring every student is engaged in an appropriate programme of study, enabling them to access education successfully and achieve their best possible outcomes.,
- Provide direct assessment
- Intervention and consultation
- Play a key role in the provision of high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
- Work with the support of other professionals within our Clinical Team in this varied and rewarding role
A HCPC registration (requirement) - Have an interest in attachment and developmental trauma
- Post qualification experience of SEN education
- Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessments tools and interventions, appropriate to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
- Passionate champions of students with SEND
- Have a full-UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
