Speech and Language Therapist

We are recruiting an enthusiastic HCPC Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join Sunny Hill School. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities. As part of the wider Clinical Team, you will benefit from strong support from our in-house Clinical Team and Senior Leadership Team. At Sunny Hill School We are a small, supportive school that effectively guides children through their educational journey. We support a wide range of students with learning difficulties that impact their learning, communication, and daily life. • Provide direct assessment
• Intervention and consultation
• Play a key role in the provision of high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
• Work with the support of other professionals within our Clinical Team in this varied and rewarding role
  
  A HCPC registration (requirement)
• Have an interest in attachment and developmental trauma
• Post qualification experience of SEN education
• Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessments tools and interventions, appropriate to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
• Passionate champions of students with SEND
• Have a full-UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
