Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Specification Specialist to join the team.
In this role you will report to the Specification Expert and will provide
Health and Safety Data via the creation and maintenance of Sales Specifications and Technical Data Sheets, allowing safe and compliant marketing and use of products.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks

-Upload and maintain specification documents in SAP DMS
-Coordinate the issue of Sales Specification within agreed timescales
-Update and create of Sales Specification Documents for own branded and multi-sourced products
-Liaise with Product Managers and MDM to approve new sources and approve update and creation of new materials
-Compare Specifications for multi-sourced materials and highlight differences
-Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues on compliance to the relevant Regulations stated on Sales Specification documentation
-Conduct portfolio and industry reviews of existing Sales Specifications
-Provide support to Quality Teams for external site audits and accreditations
-Re-validate existing documentation
-Maintain safety information on the company computer system
-Utilise departmental IT resources effectively
-Assist/support the SDS Team
-Comply with safety notices
-Comply with all Quality procedures
-Co-operate on all matters concerned with any health, safety, training, legislative and environmental
We Are Looking For Someone who

-Is a UK resident and currently living in the UK, with the right to work in the UK (an offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this)
-Has excellent attention to detail
-Ideally has some chemistry background
-Has experience of using SAP (although we can provide training)
-Is an excellent communicator at all levels and is self-motivated, focused, flexible, numerate, with excellent IT (Microsoft) and organisational skills
-Cares deeply about delivering a world class service
-Is keen to continually develop
