Specialty Doctor, North West - Home Treatment Team

We're looking for a dedicated & compassionate Speciality Doctor to join North West Home Treatment Team. (HTT) Our HTT offers urgent & intensive mental health support to adults aged 18-65 years in crisis, helping people stay at home & avoid hospital admissions wherever possible. You'll be working with a skilled & welcoming multi-professional team, supporting people across Woking, Elmbridge, Spelthorne, Runnymede. As a Specialty Doctor, you'll provide clinical leadership, expert assessments, & treatment planning. You'll also support early discharge from hospital & work closely with local teams, services & carers. The role is central to helping people recover in the community with the right support in place., The post holder will be responsible for delivering psychiatric input & clinical leadership to the MDT & acting as a consultant/advisor to the team in line with the developing models of practice under 'New Ways of Working' The post-holder is also expected to liaise effectively with the other general & specialist teams operating in Surrey to ensure effective handover of care when patients transfer between teams as part of the patient pathway. On average, a full-time Speciality Doctor will have 10-12 visits per week.

• NHS Specialty grade £63,696 - £102,689 per annum + £149 fringe pro rata for part time
