Full Job Description

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (SCAMHS) and Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT). This role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across hospital and community settings, supporting the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions in children and young people. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to responsive crisis care and ongoing management of patients. The post includes participation in the MHLD first on-call rota, with Consultant support available at all times (on-site during working hours and off-site out of hours). Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties. We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mentalhealthand learning disabilities services.
