Specialty Doctor in Breast Services

We are looking to appoint a Whole time Specialty Doctor to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues., The appointee will be involved in the provision of Breast Services primarily for outpatient clinics.

These sessions will mainly involve assessment of patients referred into the one stop clinic as well as review of breast cancer follow-up patients as needed (the trust has implemented personalised patient initiated follow up) .

There will also be training available (if needed) to support the Family History services.

Attendance in theatre to assist can be arranged if of interest to the successful candidate.
