Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care

The positions will comprise of 10 programmed activities on average per week. These posts offer a variety of interests including, theatre work, obstetric anaesthesia, intensive care and resident on call duties. A willingness to work flexibly is essential. The Specialty Doctors are co-ordinated by a dedicated Consultant and the Trust has also appointed a Tutor to specifically support the educational and developmental needs of the Specialty Doctor group in all specialties.

Royal Derby Hospital a major oncology centre providing treatment for upper and lower GI, urological, gynaecological, breast and head and neck malignancies. We also host regional units for hand surgery and bariatrics, and have a large clinical commitment to major orthopaedics, trauma and emergency care with a helipad and state of the art imaging services.
