Speciality Doctor in Adult Cardiac Surgery

Employing Authority and main place of employment:The post will be based at St. Thomas' Hospital at Guy's and St Thomas' Trust. However, it is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service., Job Summary:? To provide clinical services for cardiac surgery patients in support of the consultant surgeons. ? Duties will include training and mentoring of less experienced colleagues and other staff, participation in clinical audit and in clinical research projects. Clinical areas covered will mainly include theatres, wards, overnight intensive recovery unit and outpatients.? To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care ? To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training
