Full Job Description

This fixed-term post is based at Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke, which is part of the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) NHS Trust. Based at the child development centre on the Royal Stoke site, the successful applicant will join a well-established community paediatric team to provide a comprehensive community paediatric service for Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire. This will include participation in the child protection rota 9-5 Monday to Friday. There is no requirement to participate in the West Midlands SARC service.

The post holder will contribute to the looked after children service whilst acquiring skills in the management of common general paediatric and developmental disorders through clinic and CAU attendance., Secretarial support is provided by a secretary and a support secretary based near the doctors' shared offices, where PC and internet access are provided.
