Speciality Doctor

We are now seeking to recruit a Speciality Doctor to join our Rehabilitation Psychiatry services on a full time or part time basis. We are really pleased that you are seeking a career at LPT, you will work in partnership with members of well-established multi-disciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically to drive forward innovation delivering the best effective care for our patients. You will provide medical and psychiatric support to the Consultant Psychiatrists working in the service area and in the management of service users. The role will also involve working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Every opportunity will be given to encourage personal initiatives, research, specialist interests, teaching, training, supervision, and leadership, as well as arears of professional specialist interest you may have., We want a Specialty Doctor who can: Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patents and carers The post holder will be required to work in partnership to provide initial assessment and treatment initiation where appropriate of patients referred to the service. The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers and advocates are treated with respect and dignity A specimen timetable illustrating how the specialty doctor timetable may be arranged within the current framework can be found in the attached job description. You will engage with the development of your Job Plan.
