Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the skills and commitment to empower schools to support learners with a diverse range of needs? If so, we would be pleased to hear from you. We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our Specialist Teaching Service within Worcestershire County Council. This role focuses on providing high-quality assessment and evidence-based advice and support that enhances educational provision and promotes positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND. As a Specialist Teacher (Learning Support), you will work at both individual and whole-school levels, supporting settings to increase their capacity, confidence and skill in meeting a wide range of learning needs. You will manage a multi-age caseload, undertake detailed assessments, contribute to statutory processes, and offer specialist teaching and interventions where appropriate. Applications are particularly welcome from Level 7 qualified Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia assessors. You will work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, support staff, families, and a range of professionals to ensure a cohesive, child-centred approach. Confidence in delivering training and engaging in constructively challenging conversations is essential.
