Specialist Teacher

This is a countywide position; however, the majority of assessments are expected to take place within the Lincoln, Boston/South Holland and East Lindsey areas. We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time working arrangements. Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking specialist teaching assessments for children and young people with SEND.
• Producing high-quality assessment reports and recommendations.
• Working collaboratively with families, schools and a range of professionals.
• Managing workloads effectively and working within statutory timescales.
• Contributing to positive outcomes for children and young people across Lincolnshire.
  
  Are you a passionate and experienced teacher looking to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
We are seeking highly motivated Specialist Teachers to join our dedicated team. Working across Lincolnshire, you will play a key role in providing specialist teaching assessments for children and young people with a range of SEND needs, helping to ensure they receive the support and provision they require to thrive.,
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
• Experience of working with children and young people with SEND.
• Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet statutory deadlines.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
• An accredited Level 7 qualification relevant to the assessment of children and young people with specific learning differences/difficulties or currently studying towards such a qualification
• A current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC)., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

• Salary Teachers will be paid according to the salary point they are on. In addition a minimum SEN allowance is paid.
