Full Job Description
Are you interested in autism, adhd, neurodiversity and supporting children with social and emotional needs? Are you looking for an exciting role working with children, families and schools? Are you passionate and committed to ensuring a child's needs are understood and met within mainstream education? We are looking to employ a full time Specialist Teacher within our behaviour support and autism team to work closely with our small team of Specialist Teachers and Outreach Practitioners.
Our aim is to provide support for schools and settings to support children and young people with a range of additional needs (including ASD/ADHD and SEMH needs) to be successfully included in mainstream education. Our work includes a range of approaches from consulting, advising and training for schools and other education settings through to direct work and modelling interactions with children., As part of your role, you will confidently work alongside Outreach Practitioners and our current Specialist Teachers in supporting schools and settings across North Lincolnshire to ensure children's needs are identified, understood and met accurately.

We support children and young people from transition into Reception though to transition out of secondary school. Ideally you will have experience of work across a range of Key Stages, particularly within Early Years and Primary, with some qualifications and/or continuing professional development in the areas of neurodevelopmental differences (autism and adhd) and trauma informed approaches.
