Full Job Description
Due to successful internal promotion, we are recruiting for a 0.6 WTE developing specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join us in the SLT ENT/HNC Service at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust . Based at the Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital campuses, the role requires a dynamic and enthusiastic specialist SLT to provide specialist HNC/ENT SLT services to patients in a variety of settings.
The role requires a developing specialist level of clinical and professional expertise, and you will manage and prioritise a caseload with formal and informal clinical supervision from highly supportive senior colleagues. Familiarity working with this specialist client group is desirable as is commitment to continual professional development and development within this field . You will join a team with a strong ethos of and team-working, in which professional development, quality improvement and research are encouraged., To manage and prioritise own caseload in a highly specialist area under supervision of senior ENT SLT colleagues, delivering appropriate packages of care.
To work collaboratively with a variety of different agencies/professionals across primary and secondary care; social services and the Voluntary sector
To contribute to planning, and delivery of programmes of learning and development to other professionals within specialist clinical area
To represent the ENT SLT Service at agreed forums as required.
