Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are looking for an experienced therapist to join our innovative community based team, to work with children and young people presenting with a range of social communication needs, language disorders and speech sound disorders.

This is a specialist post, with support from a range of highly specialist speech and language therapists, and access to external CPD courses and opportunities to undertake research encouraged.

This post is based in the community, and so there is an expectation that the successful candidate will be able to travel to, and between various locations throughout the week., The successful candidate will work to provide a high-quality speech and language therapy service to children in a variety of community settings including clinics, schools and nurseries.

We are looking for a therapist who can assess and provide a range of therapeutic interventions using specialist knowledge to children with a variety of speech, language and communication difficulties.

The team work collaboratively with other partner agencies and carers to enable them to understand the communication needs and to provide appropriate advice, support and intervention.
