Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

In your role you will be expected to deliver a high standard of speech and language therapy care to children and young people witha range ofneeds,thereforefor this role we are looking forsomeonewith a realpassionfor seeing childrenand young peoplereach their potential. As a service we are committed to the development of our staff. Our core workinghours are Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00 but we can offersomeflexibilityaround this. The role will involve some travelbut alsooffers opportunities for flexible working.Main duties of the job

• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people
• Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providingsupport to more junior staffand students
• Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
• Maintainaccurateand contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCAssessment process and tribunals asrequired
• Useneeds-led,impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures
