Full Job Description

As an integral part of the Leadership Team at Thames House, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Social Work role, taking a lead on safeguarding and developing social capital across the pathway., Clinical tasks will range from assessment and formulation of social needs, including contribution to statutory assessments where relevant; compilation of formal reports in line with requirements of local authorities, the Mental Health Act and Ministry of Justice; liaising with families and Victim Liaison Officers.

Leadership duties will include oversight of safeguarding issues for the ward and contributing to monitoring of safeguarding cases across the Directorate in conjunction with the relevant local authorities; developing and monitoring clinical and statutory social work pathways at Thames House; supporting the development of inpatient Social Workers.
