Full Job Description
If you are and would like to join a dynamic and caring team, delivering Oncology/haematology research then keep reading. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our successful Research and Innovation Department, working as a Specialist Research Nurse within the Oncology/Haematology research team. Due to significant growth across the whole oncology/Haematology portfolio the post holder may be expected to work across a diverse range of cancer types including lung, breast, colorectal, gynaecological and brain. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of high quality Commercial and National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) portfolio studies and will be expected to contribute to all aspects of trial delivery across the Trust.
Working with the other Specialist Research Nurses, you will be responsible for delivering the portfolio, providing high quality care from recruitment through to follow up, closeout and archive. This post will be predominantly working within the Oncology/Haematology research team but may also be required to support the urgent public health and Trust wide studies. The post holder will work in close collaboration with the Research nursing team, Principal Investigators, and support staff, to ensure compliance with Trust Policy, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Tissue Act (HTA), and trial specific protocols.
