Full Job Description
The Radiopharmacy Department at Barts Health is undergoing an exciting and innovative phase of exponential expansion and development. The Radiopharmacy
department forms part of the Imaging department which relies on close working relationships between a number of different staff groups including scientists,
pharmacy technicians, imaging technologists, physicists and clinicians.
We are a MHRA Manufacturer's Specials Licenced Radiopharmacy, who also hold a MIA(IMA) License, supplying key radiopharmaceuticals to Nuclear Medicine &
Imaging departments within our Trust and to other hospitals.
Our service includes a range of activities from the aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and blood cell radioisotope labelling for the purposes of diagnostic imaging, batch manufacture, clinical trials, and quality control laboratory activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician or scientist
with experience in radiopharmaceutical or aseptic production to further develop their career in a world leading center. The successful applicant will be actively involved in Radiopharmacy Production at St Bartholomew's Hospital providing high quality, safe, efficient radiopharmaceuticals manufacturing and maintaining the supply chain to customers.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated specialist, who is able to work effectively in a team delivering safe and effective service to customers, in line with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant regulations. If you would
