Specialist Radiographer - Trauma, Acute and General (TAG)

Your main duties will include performing a high-quality radiography and delivering high standards of patient care. Contribute to effective training newly qualified radiographers, including BSc/MSc students and apprentices. Managing day to day departmental operational logistics, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.

We want to hear from you!, The postholder must hold a BSc (Hons) Radiography, or DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent in Radiography, HCPC registered and have post qualification clinical experience and able to work autonomously.
You will be required to Participate in 24/7 Rostered Shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties. Flexibility in your approach to work is essential, with an unwavering commitment to keeping patients at the forefront of their clinical practice.
You must demonstrate a commitment to your professional development and the diagnostic imaging services. The department is committed to supporting you in your career pathway. For example, the department may support role extension, such as reporting on axial and appendicular skeleton, chest, and abdomen.

Work unsupervised, performing all TAG Imaging departmental protocols.
Liaise with referral source where clarification is required regarding the selection of the most clinically appropriate imaging examination and prioritise cases by urgent clinical need.
Act as a professional resource regarding TAG Imaging for other directorate staff and clinical colleagues.
