Full Job Description

  • Actively manage treatment programmes in line with care planning and discharge guidelines.
  • Identify when patients need referrals to other professionals or specialist areas, following agreed pathways.
  • Perform nail surgery (undertaking procedures under supervision if not already proficient).
  • Participate in rotations in areas such as nail surgery, diabetes and vascular care.
  • Arrange for offloading orthoses, pressure-relieving insoles, and shoe inserts as needed.

    The role is a permanent position for 22.5 hours per week. It will involve work in both health centres and out in the community in patients homes, care homes and local hospitals. The community team covers parts of Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and surrounding area. We are a team that manage complex patients with foot ulcers through comprehensive musculoskeletal and vascular assessments.
