  • To work collaboratively as part of the team to support the delivery of high-quality therapy services across critical care and surgical caseloads, working closely with the senior leadership team.
  • To provide specialist guidance and advice to therapy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • To use patient-centred approaches to patient care.
  • To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision.
  • To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
  • To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
  • To contribute to and lead on educational teaching programmes for Respiratory on-call training.
  • To use the Trust electronic patient record system.
  • To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.

    The Critical Care Therapy Team are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and driven Physiotherapist to join their team. We're looking for a dynamic and motivated professional with strong clinical expertise and proven leadership skills to help drive service development and deliver high quality, evidenced based therapy interventions. Please note this is a static post within the Critical Care therapy team.
  • As a senior Physiotherapist you will provide assessment, treatment and management advice for patients within the new Critical Care unit at Scarborough Hospital, and across surgical wards as required. You should be able to demonstrate advanced skills in prioritising and managing the team's daily caseload, to deliver effective therapy interventions while maintaining the highest professional standards of care.
