An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Neurotherapy Service within Bedfordshire. You might be a Band 5 Physio with solid core skills, a passion for neuro, and the motivation to step into a Band 6 role with structured support OR you might be a Band 6 Physio looking to expand your neurorehabilitation expertise in a friendly, well-supported community service. We are recruiting part-time posts up to 0.8 WTE across our localities. The post can be based in Flitwick covering Mid Bedfordshire locality or Dunstable covering the South Bedfordshire locality. While your main base will be locality-specific, we are looking for applicants who can work flexibly across both Mid and South Bedfordshire when service needs require. To support safe and consistent service delivery, there is an expectation that part-time staff are available during the latter part of the week, particularly Thursdays and Fridays.
We are committed to your professional growth and offer regular supervision, mentorship and a robust in-service training programme led by experienced senior clinicians. You will have access to excellent CPD opportunities, including specialist neuro courses, service development projects and leadership development., As part of our multidisciplinary service, you will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment in patients' homes and community settings, supporting safe early discharge and maximising functional independence. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Assistant practitioners to deliver coordinated, goal-focused rehabilitation.

The post holder is a member of the Neurotherapy service and will be responsible for the assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised physiotherapy therapy intervention to Stroke/Neurological patients living in the Bedfordshire community.
The post holder will case manage designated patients, contribute to service development, and lead projects, often working autonomously and engaging in lone working across community settings.
