Full Job Description
This is a 1-year fixed term post as we are in the process of creating a B8a ACP role in Pelvic Health. Due to the fixed term nature of this job we anticipate the role will be 80-90% clinical.
- Provide some clinical and managerial leadership for the Pelvic Health service at Ipswich Hospital (ESNEFT).
- Develop service to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to outpatients, including highly complex presentations.
- Apply expert clinical reasoning, treatment strategies.
- Participate in service development alongside the professional and team lead. Be aware of national and local agendas and current evidence based practice and research.
- Deputise as required to oversee the day to day running of the department.
- Provide management and supervision to the pelvic health physiotherapy team.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health team at Ipswich Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with pelvic health conditions (men, women and children), including but not limited to incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-natal recovery. As a Band 7 Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you will work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality care and support for patients across East Suffolk.
