Specialist Physiotherapist

The Role As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will: Provide expert assessment and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for patients with complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, spinal cord injury, and polytrauma. Deliver specialist respiratory and tracheostomy care as part of a holistic, person-centred rehabilitation plan. Contribute to the planning and implementation of physiotherapy programmes, supporting functional recovery and patient-specific goals. Utilise advanced rehabilitation technologies, including Arm Motus M2 Pro, Wrist Motus, Ankle Motus, Kinestica Equio Balance System, and EMG-assisted devices, to enhance patient outcomes. Actively participate in service development initiatives, including implementing physiotherapy protocols, contributing to clinical guidelines, and identifying opportunities for quality improvement. Provide guidance and support to junior physiotherapy staff and students, sharing knowledge and fostering
clinical excellence. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), patients, families, and carers to deliver coordinated, person-centred care. Maintain accurate clinical records, contribute to audits, and ensure compliance with professional standards and local policies.
