Full Job Description
Your MRC colleagues are a strong, cohesive and supportive team who are passionate about our roles, and work closely together developing each other, and our colleagues across our healthcare system. We are committed to developing our colleagues and you will receive training to deliver Medicines Information services for this role., This role provides support to patients, clinicians, and services within Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, and to primary care colleagues to improve the safe and effective use of medicines.
You will be expected to help manage, maintain, and develop the Medicines Resource Centre (MRC) to ensure the provision of a high quality, patient focused, evaluated and unbiased, evidence based pharmaceutical information and advisory service.
You will:
+ Develop, train, and supervise colleagues working within the MRC.
+ Support MRC workstreams with a focus on Medicines Information and other workstreams including Formulary and Governance as required.
+ Actively contribute to the development, monitoring and integration of written guidelines, policies and patient group directions (PGDs).
+ Provide clinical pharmacy services at a department and ward level, according to rotas., If you are an internal applicant there is the option for secondment, all applicants must have the endorsement/support of their line manager prior to application.
