Full Job Description

This role is to cover a period of maternity leave within the team. The post holder will provide the opportunity for an already experienced clinician in pelvic health to develop further in the management of a wide variety of pelvic floor dysfunction in an acute setting. The successful applicant will be fully supported to identify appropriate goals towards continued professional development and working within the multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation promoting the profile of the specialist physiotherapy service.,

  • To deputise for the Physiotherapy Service Manager and work with the manager /rest of the team, to plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate the physiotherapy service provided.
  • Be responsible for providing highly specialist and complex assessment and treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
  • Supervision, support and education to physiotherapists and physiotherapy undergraduates and other colleagues within the MDT both within the Trust and the community.
