Specialist Nurse - Gynaecology The Alexandra Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is looking for a Specialist Nurse in the Gynaecology department. This part-time role is 30 hours a week, permanent, with flexible shift patterns. Location: Cheadle Salary: Up to £50,000.00 FTE per year (based on level of experience, training and qualification). Duties
- Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within your area of specialism, acting as a clinical expert and role model.
- Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
- Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and families, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, GPs, allied health professionals, and other nursing colleagues to support integrated, patient-centred care.
- Act as a resource for education and clinical development within your specialty.
- Lead or support audits, patient feedback initiatives, and quality improvement programmes related to your specialist area. Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
- Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
