Specialist Nurse Endometriosis

This 12-month secondment offers an experienced nurse the opportunity to join our specialist gynaecology service as an Endometriosis Specialist Nurse. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate nurse with a strong interest in improving care for people living with endometriosis. This role offers the chance to develop specialist skills while supporting a high-quality, patient-centred service. The successful candidate will work with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert advice, support assessment and management, coordinate investigations and treatment, and promote continuity of care., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

We are looking for a registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience and a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, person-centred care. You will have: · Current NMC registration. · Significant post-registration experience, ideally in gynaecology, women's health or a related specialist area. · An interest in endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and the wider impact on patients' wellbeing. · Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. · Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. · Experience in service improvement, education, audit or governance would be advantageous. · Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and excellent patient experience. Specialist endometriosis experience is welcome, but we also encourage applications from nurses with transferable women's health or specialist nursing skills.,
