Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Neurological Physiotherapy service at the Homerton Healthcare. The post is a fixed term contract to cover the maternity leave of the static B6 Physiotherapist on the Regional Neuro-Rehabilitation Unit (RNRU) and a permanent full time role on the Neuro-rotation. The rotations include Neuro-Outliers, Stroke, Level 1 and Level 2 Inpatient Rehabilitation, and two community neuro rotations including Early Supported Discharge and a Neuro Specialist Community Therapy Team. There is a robust commitment to CPD and training at Homerton University Hospital and supervision will be provided through band 7 team leads and the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists., As a competent and experienced Physiotherapist in neurology you will be working with complex neurologically impaired adults. Essential
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HPC registered Physiotherapist Desirable
- Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Member of Association of Chartered Physiotherapist in Neurology
- Relevant post graduate courses Skills Essential
- Ability to assess and implement appropriate treatment for a range of neurological conditions.
- Able to manage caseload and to prioritise under pressure
- Effective discharge planning skills.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with all disciplines and patients to optimise management.
- Clear, concise verbal and written reporting skills.

- High standard of IT skills
