The post holder will provide high-quality Level 3 specialist endodontic care within the consultant-led restorative dental service at Acton Health Centre. Core duties include accepting and managing complex endodontic referrals in line with the pan-London pathway, delivering direct clinical care, undertaking triage, and completing associated administrative tasks. The role also involves contributing to clinical leadership within the service, supporting and training colleagues, and participating in clinical governance activities such as audit, appraisal, quality assurance, and peer review to ensure safe, effective and evidence-based specialist dentistry

    This position offers a unique opportunity to join the community-based consultant led specialist restorative dental team, providing high quality level 3 complexity care to patients in the North West sector of London. The service operates out of a single site at Acton Health Centre and is well served by public transport links. There is free staff car parking available. The small friendly dental team comprises 5 experienced clinicians (including periodontists, hygienists and endodontists) supported by a dedicated team of fully trained dental nurses. W The clinical post is a 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours per week / 3 days to be agreed) permanent Band C salaried dental contract with pro-rata study leave. The holder will be involved in the provision of advanced mandatory services (level 3 complexity) in Endodontics. Job share (minimum 0.2WTE may be considered). The post holder will accept appropriate referrals for their specialist area for patients who have complex treatment requirements, as triaged within the pan-London endodontic pathway.
