Specialist Grade in Medical Retina

This substantive Senior Ophthalmic Specialist position will be based full time at the Moorfields satellite unit within Croydon University Hospital (CUH). The post has 8 direct patient care sessions and will form part of the well-established multidisciplinary team., The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC specialist registration and hold a licence to practice

To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the post.

To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care Programmed Activities.

To ensure patients are involved in decisions about their care and to respond to their views.

We are seeking candidates with previous unsupervised retinal laser experience, intravitreal injections and clinical experience. Candidates should have completed their higher surgical training in the UK or equivalent.
