Full Job Description
This role requires developed clinical and professional dietetic expertise so that adults, their carers and families benefit from a well-coordinated pro-active, specialist, efficient and effective service within the designated specialism/setting/district. The post holder is responsible for providing specialist assessment, formulation, and diagnosis, requiring sound clinical reasoning, critical thinking, reflection and analysis, and subsequent therapy/management programmes. This will include individual assessment, individual and group therapy and management, training, and advice., Professional for all aspects of own work and delegated work to staff, students and others, in line with HCPC, BDA and Trust Policy, ensuring compliance with national standards and implementation within the area.
To work collaboratively with a variety of professionals ensuring management and treatment meet the holistic needs of patients, providing a well-coordinated care plan for specialism/setting
To participate in multi- disciplinary projects as agreed.
To ensure staff have appropriate skills, training, supervision
To identify training and development needs.
To be responsible for providing mentoring, clinical supervision and/or management of junior staff and Clinical Support Workers as agreed.
