Specialist Clinical / Counselling Psychologist

The post holder will provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to young people with complex mental health needs, including assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions. The multidisciplinary team works within an Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT) framework, supporting collaborative work with young people, families and professional networks. The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive psychology discipline and multidisciplinary team, contributing to psychologically informed care through consultation, supervision and advice. The role offers opportunities to supervise Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, contribute to service development and Quality Improvement projects, and develop leadership skills. The post holder will join a supportive psychology team within Greenwich CAMHS, benefiting from high-quality supervision, CPD opportunities and psychology networks across the three Oxleas boroughs. The role includes opportunities to provide supervision to Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, offer consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues, and contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and leadership activities. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families accessing the service.
