Summary
Please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for details of the main responsibilities for this role. Provide specialist physiological support during cardiac catheterisation and interventional cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab. Deliver specialist cardiac diagnostic testing, including ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, tilt table testing and ILR services. Analyse and interpret complex cardiac investigations, producing accurate clinical reports and escalating significant findings appropriately. Support cardiac rhythm management services, including pacemaker, ICD and CRT implantation and follow-up clinics. Deliver high-quality patient care, education and support while working closely with the multidisciplinary team. Participate in emergency and Primary PCI on-call services, quality improvement, audit, staff training and service development. This is an exciting time to join our team, as we have expanded and improved our services. We are now a three-site department, City and Sandwell Health Campuses and the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, where our third catheter lab has recently opened, bringing together all acute services onto one site.
