Specialist Assembly Technician (Coachbuilder) Apprentice

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Coachbuilder Apprentice to join our production team and begin a rewarding career within the emergency vehicle industry.

What You'll Do

Throughout the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be trained to:

• Assist in the construction and modification of specialist emergency vehicles
• Install vehicle interior panels, flooring, cabinets and storage systems
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for assembly
• Learn how to safely use a variety of hand and power tools
• Carry out drilling, cutting, riveting and fastening operations
• Fit components accurately using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Assist with the installation of vehicle trim and interior equipment
• Carry out sealing, finishing and quality checks on completed work
• Support the production team to ensure vehicles are completed to schedule
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow company quality standards and Health & Safety procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within the production department
