Full Job Description
This service provides specialist teaching and advice to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, from birth up to the age of 25, as well as support for their families. It works in close partnership alongside schools and settings to promote an inclusive ethos, helping them to meet a wide range of needs effectively within their provision. The service delivers targeted, specialist intervention and teaching for children and young people, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs and promotes positive outcomes. In addition, the service offers a range of traded specialist training packages, equipping education professionals with the knowledge and skills to further strengthen inclusive practice and high-quality support for learners with (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).,
- To be responsible for all administrative support to SEND Services.
- To assist in all aspects of the financial functions of SEND Services
- To utilise appropriate word processing, databases, spreadsheets software, online platforms and AI technology as tools in the provision of an efficient and effective service
- To assist in the smooth running of Services by prioritising and managing the workload of office-based tasks
- To provide a welcoming atmosphere within SEND Services taking enquiries from parents, the public and professionals.
Experience of using computers with ability to use systems and software such as Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel - Demonstrate good communication skills - working clearly, concisely and courteously both orally and in writing
- Experience of administrative work, finance processes and dealing with customer enquiries.
- Confidence to organise own workload and prioritise duties assigned
- Ability to work well as part of a team, or using own initiative
