Full Job Description

As part of the multi-disciplinary paediatric eye team, the successful applicant will carry out general optometric assessment of children attending Penguin Eye Clinic. Patients are drawn from a variety of specialist clinics, including Genetics, Neurology and Orthoptics, as well as, General Paediatric Ophthalmology., The 2 sessions will focus on Paediatric refraction, but will also include access to OCT and other diagnostic methods.

It is also expected that the complex case-load seen will enhance the CPD of the successful applicant.

To provide Optometry services as an autonomous practitioner, but within the multi-disciplinary team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
