Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We're currently recruiting for a compassionate and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in the Robertsbridge area., As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with daily classroom activities and adapted learning plans
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Providing personal care, where required
To be successful as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you should have: - Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one), Term Time Teachers are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore all applicants will be subject to a full face-to-face registration and an Enhanced DBS (Formerly known as CRB).
