Full Job Description
We are now looking for a motivated "Spa & Wellness Shift Leader" to join our Treatment team's Floatation department, supporting the delivery of outstanding spa experiences while upholding the high customer standards that define Nirvana Spa. As a Spa & Wellness Shift Leader you will lead the team and set an example of exceptionally high standards in all aspects of the role ensuring total customer satisfaction. You must have a flexible approach to hours of work (which will include evenings, bank holidays and every other weekend, on a 4 week rolling rota) and will share our pride and passion for our amazing facilities. What you'll do: Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- To promote a high morale within the team by personally having a positive can-do attitude.
- Support and assist the Head Floatation Therapist and Treatment Management team with the development and communication of the department.
- Promote and upsell department treatments to ensure high levels of occupancy.
- Personally achieve monthly retail targets to lead by example.
- Support with training, and inductions for new starters.
- Ensure the department health and safety procedures are always adhered to, supporting the Head Floatation Therapist.
- Have a thorough knowledge of Pool Safety Operation Procedures ensuring these are adhered to by the team.
- Ensure the team are proactive in quieter times, promoting services, cleaning, and restocking the department.
- Assist other departments within the spa to work as an overall team.
- Promote internal communications on Staff Hub

- High levels of attention to detail, ensuring all safety policies are maintained Desired, but not essential:
- Previous experience working as a senior team member
- National Rescue Award (training will be provided for this qualification) Past experience and proven track record:
- Regular positive feedback from both colleagues and customers.
- Confidence and aptitude of dealing with difficult circumstances which are not part of the everyday role
